We are very proud of our Whisky, who won the title of Italian Field Trial Champion during the Open Field Trial of Cressa (Novara) on the 7. of November 2010!
It was a very hard day of working: we had to retrieve two times wounded game, two retrieves over a water stream and all of them over long distances with changes of grounds.
It was a really demanding day, but ended in the best way.
We did our work perfectly and the judges (Mr Beppe Masia from Italy and Mr Alan D. Fryer from UK) were very pleased with us.
Whisky's will to please is endless, his nose unerring, his eyes precise and reliable....and if he doesn't mark at all I can handle him softly and with only a few commands directly on the spot.
His fondness for me and for retrieving is always there to remember how exceptional he is!!!!!!!!Then.....the run off....but we were so happy of winning the first place CACT in our group that we relaxed to much... and failed in the last retrieve for the CACIT, won by Bianca Henderson with Levenghyl Mountain of Beechdale!
